#DiscoverUSC & #ViterbiEXPO – Sunday, 11/24!

Senior Design Expo 2009 013Our largest admission event of the year, Discover USC and the #ViterbiEXPO is finally here!!

On Sunday, November 24, 2013, we are opening our doors to you.  At Discover USC you can learn about the university, the different areas of study across campus, the application process, and also take part in seminars and campus tours.

As part of the day the USC Viterbi School of Engineering will hold its largest open house of the fall.  We have prepared detailed information sessions to discuss our academic programs, curriculum, and services catered to Viterbi Students. Additionally, you will not want to miss the #ViterbiEXPO where you will have a chance to meet a ton of current students, discuss college life, explore labs where students are constantly working on projects, and discover the different student organizations, design teams and research projects.

Below is a glimpse of how the day will go:

USC Hahn Plaza9:00 am: Check-In for the day begins and runs throughout the day in Alumni Park

  • When you check-in you will be provided a schedule for the day and more details.
  • Admission and Financial Aid Sessions will run every hour throughout the day.
  • Campus Tours will run consistently as well.

10:00 am and 1:30 pm: Viterbi Presentation: Engineering Education for a New Century

  • Location: Seely G. Mudd Building, Room 123 (SGM 123)
  • Learn about our academic programs, co-curricular programs and discuss the application process as an engineering student
  • The identical presentation will be offered at both times.

1:00 pm: #ViterbiEXPO begins

  • Location: Ronald Tutor Hall
  • Dozens of Student Organizations and Design Teams
  • Micro-Seminars on Research, Overseas Programs, Innovation & Entrepreneurship at Viterbi, and Careers & Your Future
  • Lab & Facility Tours will also be available

We are excited to have you on campus and can’t wait to have you learn more about USC and the Viterbi School.  Be prepared to not only learn a lot, but have some great fun at this remarkable event.
