The deadline for first year applicants who would like to be considered for a merit scholarship is THIS SATURDAY, December 1, 2018, by 11:59pm! You must submit your application by this time to be considered for a merit based scholarship!

What’s Due?

The only thing due by the December 1st deadline is the Common Application with the USC Writing Supplement. As long as you completed these items, your application has been received.

Don’t worry if your transcripts or letters of recommendation have not arrived by the December 1st deadline.  We understand that you have little control over that, just make sure you get them in as soon as you can so we can review your application!

Reminders!

If you are at all interested in engineering, please list one of the engineering majors as your first choice major. If you do not do this, we never see your application! USC Viterbi Engineering Disciplines include:

  • Aerospace Engineering
  • Astronautical Engineering
  • Biomedical Engineering
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Civil Engineering
  • Computer Science and Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Environmental Engineering
  • Industrial and Systems Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering

Applying as Undeclared Engineering is also an option, but not one to graduate with! Any of the emphasis programs within these disciplines count as well!

Hello, i submitted and paid for my application on December 1st and got the confirmation for it. However I got the confirmation that my writing supplements got submitted on December 2nd even though I hit submit on December 1st. Now my common app says my application was turned in December 2nd. Will I still be considered for merit scholarships?
