Why USC?

I eventually chose USC not only because of the scholarship, but because of the amount of care and attention I believe Viterbi puts into its students and scholars. There are still infinitely many things that I would like to try here on campus and I am excited to explore them in the coming years. I am grateful that I am a Trojan at USC, and I hope I will be able to see you here next year!

What activities do you do?

In my first semester alone, being in the Merit Research Program opened up many opportunities. I am currently working in the Interaction Lab, assisting a graduate student on his research on human-robot task collaborations. Of course, being able to stay in my home state of California, enjoying the beautiful weather, and experiencing Trojan football game days have been amazing as well.

How would you describe your first semester at USC?

My first semester here was extremely memorable, and I am happy to have chosen USC. I’ve met many amazing people through organizations and even just by being in the dorms. There is always something to do on campus and places to explore in LA—so many that it’s almost hard to pick what to get involved in. USC is always bustling with activity!
