What’s your favorite part of USC?

USC has been more than I could have wished for, starting with my dorm. I am surrounded by great friends who make navigating college priceless. Whether it is walking to class, venturing off to a football game (USC knows how to make game day amazing) or exploring LA, a new adventure is always around the corner at USC and I always have a good friend by my side. As far as exploring LA goes, I still have much to do despite the multitude of things I have already done. Thanks to the California sun, every weekend is a possible hiking trip or beach day, there are always new restaurants to find and LA Live is just down the street so there is no shortage of entertainment.

What activities do you do?

I am a member of USC ACM which provides plenty of resources for aspiring computer science majors as well as hosting great events such as hackathons. I also plan to join the USC Racing team even though I do not know anything about cars, it just sounds really fun. Basically, USC has something for every need and I never feel limited in my opportunities because there are too many to choose from.

Did you always want to go to USC?

I had no intentions of applying to USC until I visited the campus and fell in love with the community which I now call my Trojan family.  I actually grew up in a family that disdained USC, my Dad went to the University of Washington and my brother goes to the University of Oregon, so rooting against USC football was almost a childhood pastime for me. But I knew where I was going to school and made sure my brother witnessed me enroll, sparking a new Pac-12 family rivalry.
