USC has always been my dream school. Located close to home in the heart of Los Angeles, it offers top-tier academics, unmatched school spirit, and some of the best networking opportunities in the world. For anyone ready to grow, learn, and make a real impact, USC feels like the ideal place to start that journey.

The first time I walked around campus, I immediately felt like I belonged. I knew I wanted to study engineering, one of the most challenging majors, but hearing current Viterbi students talk about their experiences completely changed my perspective. Despite the rigor, they genuinely loved what they were doing. At USC, students don’t just survive challenging academics, they thrive while creating meaningful change through hands-on projects, research, and community outreach. That’s why USC stood out to me: it’s not just a school, but a community where I can grow as an engineer and help build a better world for all of humanity.

Here I am Celebrating with my fellow Trojan family member, who recently graduated from the Price School of Public Policy. Now it’s my turn to continue the tradition of attending USC.

One of the things I love about Viterbi is how students are encouraged to join organizations that spark their interests. It’s not about competing for spots, if you show up ready to learn and put in the work, that’s all that matters.

This past summer, I was part of the Viterbi Summer Institute program, where I not only made lifelong friends but also worked side by side with a PhD student, conducting research into developing a more cost-effective humidity sensor for aircraft implementations

This photo shows me standing with some of my SHPE peers at a recent conference, where we had the chance to speak with professionals from the Department of Water and Power, learning what working in the real world is like, and build valuable connections.

On top of that, USC lets us dive straight into academics. I’ve already begun learning several CAD modeling programs, this is one of my past projects for AME 101. In the image above, my bridge design is undergoing a finite element analysis to calculate its stresses and predict how it will perform under real world conditions.

When choosing a college, I wanted to go somewhere vibrant and full of life and what better place than USC. Located in the heart of Los Angeles, there’s always something happening, whether it’s exploring new food spots, exploring museums, or just spending time with friends. Being in LA has given me the chance to experience the city beyond campus, and this photo captures one of those moments. This was a trip to the Getty Museum I took with some friends. It’s experiences like these that remind me why USC felt like the perfect fit where I could balance my academics and social life.
