Our Commitment to Veterans

For over a century, USC has provided U.S. veterans and active-duty servicemembers with programs, scholarships, and other resources specifically tailored to their needs. Each year, an average of 350 USC students receive Yellow Ribbon support, 800 are enrolled using VA benefits, and 200 are students participating in one of the three ROTC branches offered at USC. These students are all valued members of our student body, bringing their unique experience to the classroom, student organizations, research labs, and internships. USC Viterbi is proud to enroll many of these students every year, and we are committed to providing veterans with support and resources to take advantage of a world-class education.

Applying to USC Viterbi

Benefits

USC has a variety of funding opportunities for veterans. The best place to start is the USC Military and Veterans page, where veterans who are prospective students can review the most current information on all the available benefits for veterans at USC. Students may also want to view the USC Veterans Resource Center for more details about each benefit, as well as more information on events and other resources for veterans at USC. Finally, all veteran students will want to view the information on the USC Veterans Certification Office’s page to learn more about the certification process. Their FAQ is particularly helpful. For more information on merit scholarships, please see the Scholarships section below, and be sure to visit our Schoen Scholarship page as well.
