Meet The Staff

We Are Here To Help You

Ask Us A Question!

As part of the Admission & Student Engagement Division in the USC Viterbi School of Engineering, our admission staff is a bit different from other admission offices.  While we work on undergraduate admission (recruiting, application review, enrollment), we also work closely with our faculty and colleagues in academic advising and student engagement in the Viterbi School.  We want to find students who will be successful in our programs and in our community.  Getting to know you is important to us because we will be around you for the next few years – not just the application process.

We are inside the Viterbi School and work closely with engineering faculty and the Dean.  Our job is to work with prospective students (and parents) interested in engineering and computer science majors.  We want to help you better understand this place, get through the application process, and ultimately enroll at the Viterbi School.

Say Hello To Viterbi Admission

We love getting to know students and parents as they learn more about our programs.  We hope you reach out to us with your questions.

Paul D. Ledesma

Executive Director, Undergraduate Admission

As Executive Director, Paul oversees Undergraduate Admission for all programs at the USC Viterbi School of Engineering. He was born and raised in southern California and is a lifetime Dodgers fan. He enjoys traveling (Italy may be a second home), discovering new restaurants in LA (tacos anyone?), and while he may not qualify as a bonafide movie-buff, he loves movies (especially comic book movies). He studied Psychology for his bachelor's degree, minored in Public Management, and was active in leadership for community service groups Troy Camp and Dance Marathon while attending USC. When he's not working he enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and rescued pup and kitty in Redondo Beach, CA. (well, maybe not the cat so much)

Preferred Pronouns: he/him/his

Rebecca Beiter

Director, Undergraduate Admission

Becky was born and raised in southern California but went east for school and earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Indiana University. She is responsible for coordinating all logistics for our on-campus events and assisting with managing the Viterbi Student Ambassadors.

Preferred Pronouns: she/her/hers

Angie Solares

Associate Director, Undergraduate Admission

Angie was born and raised in southern California. She attended UCLA for her undergraduate education and is currently working on a Master's degree at USC (talk about a never-ending internal conflict). She is passionate about education and access for all. At Viterbi, Angie's focus is counseling transfer students on the admission process.

Preferred Pronouns: she/her/hers

Stacey Badger

Senior Assistant Director, Undergraduate Admission

Stacey was born and raised in southern California. She wanted to stay local for college, so she decided to attend USC. She worked as a college adviser at a local high school for two years, and strongly believes in college access for all students. At Viterbi, Stacey counsels high school students and transfer students in the admission process.

Preferred Pronouns: she/her/hers

Lisa Rosas

Assistant Director, Undergraduate Admission

Lisa was born and raised in Southern California. Although she lived her entire life in some of the best weather, Lisa decided for a change of scenery for college and pursued her undergraduate degree at the University of Dubuque in Iowa. While there, she was a two-sport athlete. After experiencing beyond-freezing temperatures, she returned home with inspiration to work in higher education. She is currently pursuing a Master of Education degree with USC Rossier. In her free time you’ll find her snowboarding, playing soccer, or reading.

Viterbi Student Ambassadors

The Viterbi Student Ambassadors are here to tell you all about their lives as engineers. They remember what it was like to be in your shoes just a few years ago, trying to figure out which school is the best fit for you. Head over to Viterbi Voices to read blogs, watch videos, listen to podcasts and more about their lives. Learn more about engineering life, student orgs, and get to know some current students!
