Congratulations on your admission to the USC Viterbi School of Engineering!

You are part of a select group of talented students. Admission to USC this year was more competitive than ever and you stood out among the other applicants. We want you here at USC and we hope you will consider joining the Trojan Family. As as student admitted to the Viterbi School for the spring semester, this page can be your home base as you make your college decision.

You may have always envisioned yourself starting at a 4-year institution in the fall of your freshman year, but this option is a unique opportunity for you. We will be here every step of the way in order to help you navigate through your fall term. As a student admitted to spring, you will still be able to become involved in student activities and enjoy the fun and spirit of fall – and yes, you can buy student season football tickets.

You will want to be in constant contact with us about choosing courses at a community college or another four-year institution to make sure you are on track to graduate with your class. Use these links to review the information you need as a spring admit.

Fall Plans

You have many options for fall – but we suggest enrolling at a community college.

We strongly recommend that you enroll in a community college or other university for the Fall 2019 semester. Doing so will allow you to stay on track with your graduating class. One way you can ensure on-time graduation is to take courses in the fall that will count toward your USC degree requirements. We can help you select courses to make sure you stay on track. Choose a community college, or enroll as a non-degree-seeking student at a local university (look for visitor status, continuing education, or extension/professional studies programs).

Please click the button below to help you select fall courses that are likely to transfer and keep you on track to graduate with your class.

On Campus Programs

This will give you the opportunity to get a feel for the campus, talk to current engineering students, learn more about the engineering curricula, and get all your questions answered about USC and the Viterbi School.

The Office of Undergraduate Admission has specifically designed campus visit programs for spring admits. At these programs you will have the opportunity to explore the campus, speak with Viterbi students and staff, and gain a better sense of the community here at USC.  We strongly recommend visiting during one of our already scheduled programs.  Visiting outside of these programs can significantly diminish your ability to meet with Viterbi representatives as we will be at the scheduled programs.

MEET WITH VITERBI ADMISSION

MEET WITH FINANCIAL AID

Throughout the month of April, USC will be traveling to 22 cities across the country and around the globe to meet with you and talk to your family.  These Admitted Student Programs, hosted by the Undergraduate Admission Office,  provide admitted students and their families an opportunity to meet admission counselors, representatives from academic departments, alumni, and you will have the opportunity to meet other admitted students from your local area.  Viterbi and University Admission counselors will be there to answer any questions you might have, tell you more about campus life and your specific academic program, and welcome you to the Trojan Family. The program will last approximately two hours.

We love seeing our newly admitted students in person — if you live in or near a city we will be visiting, we encourage you to join us!
