Are you applying for Fall 2015 Admission? If so, check out my updated application tips for transfers.
I just received the following question from a transfer applicant:
Do we need to put our high school information on the Common App? I have above 30 units but I don’t understand why [the Common App] is still asking for my sat scores and high school GPA.
This is a good question to ask because this section of the Common App often confusing for transfer applicants.
You should fill out the following information in the Academics Section:
- Current Year Courses : Please provide the courses you will take in winter 2013 (if applicable) and spring 2013 in the “Current Year Courses” section.
- International Transfer Applicants: please fill out the TOEFL section and indicate your TOEFL score – or when you plan to take it.
The other sections: “Secondary School Grades”, “ACT Tests”, “SAT Reasoning Tests” and “AB/IB/SAT Subject Test” * sections are optional.
* If you will not have 30 units complete by the spring 2013 semester then USC requires that you submit official scores from the SAT/ACT exam.
