Engineers make good things happen by solving the pressing challenges facing society, today and in the future. The USC Viterbi School of Engineering combines theory with “getting your hands dirty” by addressing real world problems in class. Beyond your classes, you can assist faculty with research as an undergraduate, study abroad, or even pursue an accelerated BS/MS combined degree. Check out the links below to find more information about our programs and if it might be the right fit for you.
Academic Programs
Viterbi students can study a broad spectrum of academic programs (30+ majors and areas of emphases) in a flexible environment (change your major anytime). Students take engineering courses in their freshman year. They are also encouraged to pursue double majors or minors in areas outside of engineering.
Visit Campus
The best and most comprehensive program to learn about Engineering at USC is the Meet USC program. It includes a meeting with admission, a walking tour of campus, and an already scheduled meeting with Viterbi. It is the best way to get all of your questions answered, see facilities, and meet students.
