Fall Plans
You have many options for fall – but we suggest enrolling at a community college.
- We recommend that you continue to take classes in the fall semester, either at your current institution, or a California community college (if possible). Please note that there is a limit on the number of units that you may transfer to USC (64 semester or 96 quarter units). If you have reached this limit, you may still be able to take classes to receive credit for certain requirements but may not be able to transfer the units.
- If you are planning to attend a California community college, USC’s articulation agreements can help you find courses which are guaranteed to transfer for course equivalent credit. If you are planning on attending a four-year institution and/or a school outside of California, USC’s articulation histories can help you find courses which have transferred to USC in the past. Be sure to visit our Quick FAQ to learn more about how articulation agreements and articulation histories work.
- If you have any questions, be sure to email us at vadmit@usc.edu so we can help you select courses to stay on track for your major.
