Transfer Applicants: Did USC Receive My Transcripts?

By January 31, 2012March 29th, 20122 Comments

Most of you know that to meet the transfer application deadline you just need to submit the Common Application and USC Supplement by February 1st.  To complete your application (so that we can review it!) you need to submit all required supporting documents.

You can visit USConnect to view which documents USC has on file or call 213-740-1111.

Keep in mind, it can take several business days for your documents to process into your file.  If you just put your transcript in the mail  three days ago it won’t be in your file yet. Once it arrives at USC, we need some time to process it. Processing a document/transcript into your file can take 10 or more business days.

Check out the “early life” of your application here.

USC will contact you if you are missing required documents/information.  All transfer applicants who submit a complete application by the deadline will be mailed an admission decision or a request for spring semester grades by June 1.

Do you offer any financial aid help as well? I completed the CSS Profile and FAFSA before the Feb 2nd deadline. USC also requested to see my 2011 tax forms. I think I read somewhere that the deadline for all FA documents is March 2nd? I don’t think I will have access to my 2011 tax forms until after. Help?

USC offers comprehensive financial aid. Make sure you have all of your financial aid paperwork completed as soon as you are able by logging into http://usconnect.usc.edu. There is no hard and fast deadline for prospective students, but March is a good guideline. If you are admitted, a financial aid package will be created for you based on all of your information submitted.
