Although we have been busy finalizing admission decisions, we know a number of you are half way through your Junior year in High School and beginning to look at possible colleges for Fall 2014. We can’t wait to host you for a visit to the USC Campus!
The best way to visit campus prior to applying is through the Meet USC program. In other words – Don’t just schedule a Campus Tour…. Meet USC includes the Campus Tour as part of the overall program. Meet USC will give you everything you want to know about the university and the Viterbi School of Engineering.
Meet USC is a half-day program running on most Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. It runs both in the morning (8:30am) and the afternoon (12:30pm). Reservations are required for Meet USC and spots fill quickly!
The program will give you an overview on the university and the admission process from the USC Office of Admission. A walking tour of campus will follow the opening session showing you practically all of USC. The third and final part of the day is a meeting here with us in the Viterbi School. Myself, or one of my staff will sit with you to discuss the details of the engineering school. The curriculum, research opportunities, hands-on projects, entrepreneurial support programs, and anything else you may want to discuss. In most cases (when class is in session) a current student will join us for the discussion and walk you around the engineering school following the program.
Meet USC is the best way to visit the University of Southern California and the Viterbi School of Engineering. Make your reservation for a future session at http://www.usc.edu/admission/undergraduate/visit/freshmen.html – just click on the Meet USC “reserve now” link.
NOTE: during the month of April, we are spending the majority of our time working with newly admitted students (the seniors). Like you in the future, they only have until May 1st to choose which university to attend. As a result, our Meet USC availability is limited to mostly Wednesdays in April. But – when you are an admitted student, you’ll thank us for the programs we put in that place! 🙂
