Recently, the Viterbi Student Ambassadors challenged themselves to write a blog across a single theme: “USC in a word”

Ascend, Cooperative, Energy, Catalyst, Global, Stimulating, Spirited, Diverse… even Disneyland!

I have really enjoyed reading all of their entries.  While each word seems a bit different, one can see a strong theme here:  Everyone at USC works hard, enjoys their time – and all for different reasons.

If you haven’t jumped over yet – visit Viterbi Voices to read all of them.  You may want to take some time to watch some of their videos as well… The Day in the Life series are great!  Below is the most recent from Makana, a sophomore studying Chemical Engineering:

Paul Ledesma

As Assistant Dean, Paul oversees admission for all undergraduate programs at the USC Viterbi School of Engineering and School of Advanced Computing. He was born and raised in southern California and is a lifetime Dodgers fan. He enjoys traveling (Italy may be a second home), discovering new restaurants in LA (tacos anyone?), and while he may not qualify as a bonafide movie-buff, he loves movies (especially comic book movies). He studied Psychology for his bachelor's degree, minored in Public Management, and was active in leadership for community service groups Troy Camp and Dance Marathon while attending USC. When he's not working he enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and rescued pup and kitty in Redondo Beach, CA. (well, maybe not the cat so much)
