Psst…. Did you know that the Common Application (AKA the Common App) went live on August 1st? Did you also know that USC’s Writing Supplement also went live on August 1st? Yah, it did… and you could have started your application by now!
Now, let’s all take a giant step back.
First off, there is no rush to complete your application right now. You have many months to finish your application and get it in by our deadlines (First Year Deadlines, Transfer Deadlines). That said, I recommend jumping over to CommonApp.org, create your account, start creating your profile, and list USC as one of your schools if you are considering applying.
Creating your account at CommonApp.org and listing USC lets us know you are interested. If we know you’re interested, we can be sure to send you stuff – like invitations to programs in your area, events here on campus, and more!
So – while you don’t need to finish your application – its a good idea to set up your account and start to look over the application. We have a number of different short- and long-answer questions you may want to start reviewing.
Applying to USC as an Engineer
In order to apply to USC as an engineering student, you DO NOT NEED TO SUBMIT ANYTHING DIFFERENTLY. We do not have a separate engineering application, and we do not require any extra materials. All you need to do is list one of the many engineering disciplines (including Undeclared Engineering (387)) as your First Choice Major on the USC Writing Supplement to the Common App – thats it!
Have you started your application to USC yet?
