Somehow, Spring 2025 is already over. Finals are wrapping up, and I finally have a second to look back on everything that’s happened this semester, and it’s been a lot!

One of the biggest changes for me was starting my PDP (Progressive Degree Program) in Product Development Engineering. It’s definitely been an adjustment juggling both undergrad and master’s-level work, but I’ve already learned so much and can see how it’s shaping the way I think about design and innovation.

Outside of my classes, I created some amazing memories this semester. A few standouts:

  • Don Toliver performing at Springfest in the Coliseum
  • Helping plan and host the IISE Western Regional Conference
  • Seeing Tyler, the Creator at Crypto.com Arena
  • Playing with the Trojan Marching Band for our annual Swim with Mike fundraiser, to support disabled athletes
  • Going to the Galen Center to support our Women’s basketball team in March Madness
  • Watching the sunset in Santa Monica after surviving a brutal midterm with a friend

This summer, I’m returning to PwC as a cybersecurity consulting intern in their LA office. I can’t wait to keep building on the experience I had last year. I feel a lot more prepared this time around, especially after everything I’ve learned in my classes since then.

And the biggest thing I’m looking forward to… I’m going to Japan with the Trojan Marching Band right after finals are done!! We’ll be performing in some incredible places, visiting Nara, seeing sumo wrestling, and exploring Tokyo’s nightlife. My sister and my closest friends from the TMB are coming too, which honestly makes me so grateful that I get the opportunity to go on such a once-in-a-lifetime trip.

I’m definitely ready for a break from academics after a packed semester, but I know I’ll miss my friends who are heading home for the summer. Still, I can’t wait to come back in the fall with new memories, new stories, and hopefully some sleep.

I’m studying Industrial and Systems Engineering and minoring in Cybersecurity. I’m from Covina, California and I'll be graduating in Spring 2026! I’m a squad leader in the Trojan Marching Band where I play alto saxophone. We play at all of the USC football games, spirit events, and more! I’m also a member of the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE) where I serve as the Director of Information Systems.
