USC Viterbi has been tasked with leading a seven-school effort to develop deep technologies that will spur new startups. A $15 million National Science Foundation grant will fund the effort called I-Corps Hub: West Region, an innovation center featuring the University of Colorado Boulder, University of California-Los Angeles, California Institute of Technology, the Colorado School of Mines, The University of New Mexico, the University of Utah and the University of California-Riverside.
