Hello everyone!

I am here to share a little about my winter break, my Spring semester, and some information about my major!

Over my break, I went back home to Virginia, and I spent a lot of time with my younger brother. We love to just have spontaneous experiences outdoors and also maintain a comfy at home vibe indoors, especially when it is cold and snowy outside! Outside of family time, I also transferred to the Starbucks location near my house, and I worked there for the time I was home. Additionally, I carved out time to hunt for scholarships on the USC Scholarship Universe platform. This was important for me to do to prepare myself for the upcoming semester.

Here are some pictures of food from my winter break!

After winter break, I have mainly been focusing on my classes and spending a lot of time in the libraries! I am taking CHEM 105b and BISC 220 at the same time, and the rest of my classes are all STEM (also major required) courses. As such, it has been a homework/studying filled week.

One very exciting update to my academic course plan is that I am very certain I want to study abroad, and I am looking forward to it in the Spring of 2025! I am very interested in studying abroad in Europe, and even though as a Viterbi student, I have to work hard to match my classes to the ones available at the universities abroad, I know it will be extremely rewarding. Another positive of this is that I will be very familiar with the course plan I will have while I am abroad, and that alleviates a lot of the pressure in not being one hundred percent certain!

As a major, I am very much enjoying Environmental Engineering. I currently am enrolled in more broad major classes, and I am looking forward to taking upper division/more niche classes.

I hope the next month brings me more exciting opportunities and that I can get rest during the spring recess!

Thank you for reading, and I hope you all have a great rest of your day.
