Choosing USC was honestly a no brainer for me. The criteria I had when choosing the right school for me was faculty, location, and quality of life. USC was the only school that checked all these boxes. The professors and faculty at Viterbi are very well-educated and experienced, which is important for my learning and growth as an engineer. The learning culture at Viterbi is very research-based and hands-on, meaning that you must put everything you learn to the test. USC also has a very good reputation for its small class sizes and accessibility to professors. It is important to be able to have clear communication with professors because they can offer the best resources. Smaller class sizes mean that professors can get to know you on a personal level. During my visit for ExploreSC, I finally toured the campus and saw some of the different clubs and student organizations the school had to offer. I was thrilled with the amount of resources there are here at USC, not to mention its great weather, location in LA, and its close distance to the beach. There are also some amazing resources for the Aerospace Engineering program, such as the Dryden Wind Tunnel and Baum Family Maker Space, two areas that I have been able to utilize as a student for classes and clubs. After my first visit, I knew I had found the place for me; my home away from home. With the people I met during orientation and the campus tours, I was happy to be at a place where I felt cared for and everyone wanted to see each other grow.

I am studying Aerospace Engineering and I am from Aliso Viejo, CA. I will be graduating with the class of 2027. On campus, I worked on the aerodynamics subteam for the USC Racing and was also on the AeroDesign team. Right now, I am focusing on working with a professor as a resarch assistant through the Center for Undergraduate Research in Viterbi Engineering (CURVE). Outside of school, I love to workout, play soccer, and play video games.
