Discover USC & Engineering EXPO – Nov 21, 2010

By November 5, 20102 Comments

Our HUGE open house is coming up…. and soon!

Sunday, November 21 2010 will be this year’s event, and it should prove to be a great day for all prospective students for Fall 2011.

DISCOVER USC is a university-wide Open House with practically all of the academic units participating with different sessions and experiences throughout the day.  Roughly, the day will be as follows:

9:00 – Check-In for the day begins (and runs throughout the day) in Alumni Park

  • When you Check-In you can get your schedule for the day, and even more details.
  • Admission & Financial Aid Sessions will run on the hour
  • Campus Tours will run consistently as well

10:00 & 1:30 – Engineering Education for a New Century (2 Presentations)

  • Seeley G. Mudd Building, Room 123 (SGM123)
  • Please join us and some of our current students to learn all about the Viterbi School

1:00 – Engineering EXPO begins

  • This EXPO will let you explore all the little details here at the school.
  • We will have a ton of our current students, professional staff, alumni and researchers on hand to show you whats going on right now in the school.
  • Student Organizations, Competition Team Projects, Class Design Projects, Research Projects will be on display
  • Lab & Facility Tours will also be available along with mini-seminars on our resources and co-curricular programs

It should be a great day, and you can come and go as you wish…. If you only have a limited amount of time, make sure you don’t miss one of the Engineering Presentations in SGM 123 as that has all the information you need to know…..don’t feel like you need to be here the entire day, but know that if you are, we will have plenty for you to see and interact with.

To RSVP for the program – please visit www.usc.edu/USConnect.

If you’re coming – let us know in the comments below!

He enjoys traveling (Italy may be a second home), discovering new restaurants in LA (tacos anyone?), and while he may not qualify as a bonafide movie-buff, he loves movies (especially comic book movies). He studied Psychology for his bachelor's degree, minored in Public Management, and was active in leadership for community service groups Troy Camp and Dance Marathon while attending USC. When he's not working he enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and rescued pup and kitty in Redondo Beach, CA. (well, maybe not the cat so much) Preferred Pronouns: he/him/his
