A student considering applying for fall 2013 transfer admission recently asked:
“When is the BEST time to apply? I know we have until February 2013 but I want to apply during the ideal time. Thank You.”
This is a great question. As student noted, the application deadline for transfer students is in February. February 1, 2013 to be exact. We do not have rolling admission for our undergraduate programs. That means we wait until the deadline has passed before we begin reviewing applications for admission. That allows us to review all the applications concurrently.
You will not increase (or decrease) your chances of admission by submitting your application three months , two months, one month, etc. ahead of the deadline. So take your time!
Sometimes students delay submitting their application until they are sure about the courses they are taking for winter (if applicable) and spring. If, for whatever reason, your winter or spring schedule changes after you submit your application shoot us an email with your updated schedule. It’s important that the people reviewing your application know exactly what you are taking.
