Traveling around Los Angeles can seem extremely daunting! However, USC has made traveling in close proximity to campus extremely convenient. Using their partnership with Lyft, USC provides free rides to students, as long as their destination is within a 2 mile radius of campus. I’m here to share some of my favorite “Fryft” (free Lyft) destinations for you all to go to whenever you are seeking some food off of USC’s beautiful campus.

  • EBAES

This is an extremely delicious and popular spot right near USC’s campus. They serve a variety of ramen and sushi that would have any Japanese cuisine enthusiast drooling. My favorite menu item is the Idaho roll paired with their delicious Thai Tea with boba.

  • Pot of Cha

This is a USC classic. Pot of Cha serves some of the best tea and boba in the Los Angeles area. Even if there is a long line, Pot of Cha is quick to serve! My go-to order is the Brown Sugar Fresh Milk tea with boba. I always look forward to coming to this spot with friends for a fun and delicious outing.

  • Thai by Trio

If you are craving Thai food,  Thai by Trio is the way to go! I absolutely love the ambience that this restaurant has to offer. It is a very trendy and hip destination, and their food is absolutely to die for. I recommend the Pad See Ew (stir fried noodles)  for any noodle lover out there!

  • Chichen Itza

Located in a wonderful food hall called Mercado La Paloma, Chichen Itza is a wonderful restaurant paying homage to Yucatan, Mexico. They serve a delicious cochinita pibil dish and banana leaf wrapped tamales. I would highly recommend this spot, as they’ve appeared in L.A Weekly’s top restaurants in Los Angeles!

  • Holbox

Another gem of Mercado La Paloma, Holbox is a fresh authentic Mexican seafood restaurant. Their seafood tacos are some of the best I have ever tasted. I highly recommend the scallop tacos – they are to die for!

  • Nature’s Brew

If you are looking to have a chill, coffee shop vibe, Nature’s Brew is for you. Live your ultimate Gilmore Girls fantasy and sip on some warm chai at this charming cafe. I recommend the nutella waffles – so scrumptious!

Now you are all set to go explore and eat your way through Los Angeles! Bon Appetit!
