The Merit Scholarship Consideration Deadline for First-Year Applicants is fast approaching.

With that in mind, here are the most important things you should know as you complete your application.  Let’s go over the important part at the top.

  • The Early Action and Scholarship Consideration deadline is to complete your Common Application and USC Questions no later than 11:59:59PM on Tuesday, November 1st, 2022 (in your respective time zone).
  • If you want to be considered for merit based scholarships, you must select Early Action and Fall 2023 as your application term, and you must meet the above deadline.
  • Transcripts, letters of rec., and other supporting information may be submitted beyond the deadline.  Do you best to get those in as soon as you can if you want them considered.

Our Most Frequently Asked Questions

Earlier this week, we held a live, video AMA where hundreds of you logged in asked questions, and up-voted the most important questions you had.  Please watch the recording, as you will likely find it helpful

The Viterbi Academic Programs and Undergraduate Experience

If you haven’t had the opportunity to learn more about our programs by attending one of our info sessions (either virtually or in-person), I recently recorded one of our sessions with a few of our current undergraduates.  Take a look, and be sure to listen to the Q&A session at the end – there’s a lot there about our application process.

Whatever You Do Don’t Forget:

We are here to help.  I know this process is confusing and can be stressful at times.  That said, I do not want anyone reading this to miss out on being considered for merit-based scholarships.  While, yes, it is a competitive process, I do not want you missing out on the chance.  Get your application in.  Make sure it is well-written and telling your story in your most authentic voice.

We want to get to know you.  Help us do so, and don’t miss the November 1 deadline!

Best of luck on wrapping you your application.  We look forward to reviewing it very soon!
